Magazine tubes are potential spot of trouble. They tend to rust inside (especially the .45 caliber!) and the spring will rust and the follower will eventually bind, causing feeding problems. It is usually best to replace both the spring and follower. Additionally, stainless steel mag. tube springs load and release their energy differently (we believe more uniformly and better) than steel/piano wire springs.
