Magazine tubes are potential spot of trouble. They tend to rust inside (especially the .45 caliber) and the follower will rust and eventually bind, causing feeding problems. Both the spring and the follower will rust. If your rifle has a plastic follower, it will swell, gather debris and eventually jam. It is usually best to replace both the spring and follower.
