If you re trying to test ammo, to see which is most accurate in your rifle, the barrel heats up after about 3-4 shots and effects your group size. This devise merely helps cool your chamber and barrel quickly. It’s a  good product. I have some skinny barrel rifles that spread a 3/4 inch group to more than 2 inches after just 3 shots. I can hold  the 3/4 inch group if I cool the chamber and barrel after 3 shots.
